Mark you calendar now! Awards Program is scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd 2:00-4:00 pm at the Electric Park Ballroom. We are going to be changes thing a little from the traditional Awards Banquet venue. We are asking all 4-H families to bring their favorite dessert to share and they bring the recipe too. We will be serving Ice Cream Sundaes with all the toppings.

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been positively identified in a residential tree in the city of Waterloo, the county seat of Black Hawk County, making this the eighth location where the invasive beetle has been found in Iowa. The Region 9 County Council joined together to celebrate Halloween on Sunday, October 26. They enjoyed fun, fall games, decorating pumpkins, delicious fireside s'mores, a freaky haunted hayride, and some tasty snacks! It was enjoyable meeting other county council member's.
