Mark you calendar now! Awards Program is scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd 2:00-4:00 pm at the Electric Park Ballroom. We are going to be changes thing a little from the traditional Awards Banquet venue. We are asking all 4-H families to bring their favorite dessert to share and they bring the recipe too. We will be serving Ice Cream Sundaes with all the toppings.

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been positively identified in a residential tree in the city of Waterloo, the county seat of Black Hawk County, making this the eighth location where the invasive beetle has been found in Iowa. Attn: Community leaders and service providers interested in strengthening services to youth of color in Black Hawk County. Meet John-Paul Chaisson-Cárdenas, MSW, State 4-H Youth Development Program Leader. "My goal for this meeting is to better understand how 4-H and Iowa State Extension Youth Development can better support local Black Hawk County efforts to “empower youth to reach their full potential through youth-adult partnerships and research based experiences.” This listening event is a partnership between the Black Hawk County Extension and Outreach Office and the State."
