More than 30 years into his ISU Extension and Outreach career, Bob Dodds is still sharing and carrying out ideas. Now, he’s in a new position with County Services to help ISU Extension and Outreach grow for the future.
Iowan Bob Petrzelka recently was elected north central region president of the Council for Agricultural Research, Extension and Teaching. He has been a delegate to this national grassroots organization since 2013, representing Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Jim Harken has been hired as the director for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Region 10, covering Benton, Linn and Jones counties. He will begin the position March 1.

Andrea Nelson has accepted the position of regional director for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Region 13 serving Dallas, Polk, Madison and Warren counties effective May 1.
Three new projects from Iowa State University will bring human sciences research to Black Hawk, Polk and Jefferson counties through the Engaged Scholarship Funding Program. University researchers will partner directly with these county extension councils on projects that focus on engagement, translate research into practice, and involve and benefit Iowans, their families and communities.

Adriane Carlson has accepted a regional director position with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. She will serve Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Grundy and Tama counties in Region 9 effective Dec. 26.
Brooke Blessington has accepted the position of regional director for Region 18, serving Cass, Adair, Adams, Union, Clarke, Taylor, Ringgold and Decatur counties, effective Jan. 14.
Sherry Ford will begin her regional director duties June 1, serving Jasper, Mahaska, Marion and Poweshiek counties in ISU Extension and Outreach Region 14.
