ISU Extension specialists will share information on new practices to improve soil and water quality at workshops Dec. 16 at the Marshall County Extension office and Dec. 20 at the Carroll County Extension office.
Iowa Learning Farms (ILF), Iowa State University (ISU) Research and Demonstration Farms and ISU Extension are hosting a field day at the ISU Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy Farm, near Ames, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. The field day will feature strip-tillage and precision agriculture technology.
The Marshall County extension office is hosting a July 19 crop damage meeting. ISU Extension and Centrol of Iowa agronomists, ISU Extension plant pathologist, FSA representative and crop insurance specialists will present and answer questions.
Iowa Learning Farms and Key Cooperative will co-sponsor a strip-tillage field day at the Mike Hermanson farm and at Key Co-op S14 Office strip-till plots in northern Story County on Tuesday, June 21, beginning at 10 a.m.
