In response to the current drought situation facing Iowa pork producers, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach swine program specialists will host a webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at various locations. The program is free and no preregistration is required
Pork producers in northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota are invited to attend the Swine Production Seminar set for Feb. 28 in Okoboji. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, University of Minnesota Extension and Hubbard Feeds are sponsoring this seminar at Arrowwood Resort Conference Center, 1405 Hwy 71 in Okoboji.
Iowa Pork Industry Center, Iowa Pork Producers Association and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach swine specialists are teaming up to offer regional risk management educational seminars for producers and allied industry representatives in early December.
Iowa and Minnesota pork producers attending the Swine Production Seminar can hear from industry experts and contribute to the conversation during an open discussion.
Three risk management workshops for women who work with swine operations will be held over the next few weeks.
