Dan Loy, who led the Iowa Beef Center in an interim capacity for two years, has been named permanent director. Loy is just the third director for the center, which began in 1996 through a legislative mandate.
Anyone interested in beef nutrition research at Iowa State University (ISU), may register this week for the Nov. 18 “Beef Nutrition Research Pre-game Showcase.” The event will offer a look at the variety of research under way at Iowa State, including at the ISU Beef Nutrition Farm.
