Audubon County 5th grade and older students may register for the annual Babysitting Course sponsored by the Firehouse Flames and ISU Extension and Outreach.

The course covers characteristics of a good babysitter, babysitter responsibilities, responsibilities of the parents, healthy snacks, basic first aid, ages and stages, guidance and discipline, toy selection, handling emergencies and safety.

The Firehouse Flames are coordinating the morning workshop to be held at the Audubon Firehall on Saturday, March 21 from 8:00 AM – Noon.

Students wanting to participate must register by March 12. Registration forms are available at the schools, Extension Office, and below.

The Audubon County 4-H Program is asking for your help. For every 1,000 UPC labels collected, the 4-H program will receive $30. Simply cut the UPC label from any Best Choice product, drop them off at the drop of box at Audubon Foods or bring to the Exten
