4-H Club Officer Training Held

Brittany Elmquist, Audubon Community Schools Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor, talked to the group about the importance of being a part of the club officer team.  One of the things she stressed to the group is as an officer you set the tone and enthusiasm members have for the club.  She referred it to as being contagious.  If you have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, having fun, show excitement and passionate about 4-H, others will reflect, do and apply.  Brittany also talked about the fundamentals of Parli-Pro and engaged the attendees in different scenarios that made them practice the steps in Parli-Pro.  If you would like to learn more about the endless opportunities available in 4-H, contact Tonya Vetter, Program Coordinator, 563-4239 or tvetter@iastate.edu.
