Vet Science 4-H Club Coming Soon (Posted on 2/8/2012)
Are you interested in Animal Health? Maybe you are interested in small animals? Does Veterinary Science interest you? If any of these things pertain to you, click here to learn about the new Vet Science 4-H Club that is being offered this spring. Any youth (even non-4-H youth) from 7-12 grades are welcome to join. Audubon County will host a Seed Treatment Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. The program will be shown at locations across Iowa through the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pest Management and the Environment program (PME).

Audubon County will offer the Commercial Ag Weed, Insect and Plant Disease Management Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators Wednesday, February 8, 2012.The course will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 1A, 1B, 1C and 10. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will hold workshops in February at five Iowa locations to provide farm families and others with information about estate planning options. “Evaluating Your Estate Plan” will be a one-day workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Back by popular demand is another lineup of workshops for child care providers and parents in the Audubon, Guthrie, Carroll, and Greene county area. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach program specialists, in a continuing effort to increase the well-being of families and children, are offering free Families Together workshops.
