Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has scheduled three North Central Iowa meetings to respond to producer questions related to the late spring, dry summer and slow crop development. Extension specialists will discuss crop maturity, crop drying and potential effects of an early frost during the meetings. Other topics covered will include crop management, fallow syndrome and fall nitrogen management. Grain marketing and a grain market price outlook also will be on meeting agendas.
