Iowa State University (ISU) is giving Iowans the chance to display photos at the Iowa State Fair. As part of the university's exhibit in the northeast corner of the Varied Industries Building during the fair, Iowa residents are encouraged to submit photos to illustrate how Iowa State and ISU Extension and Outreach are making a difference in their communities.

East central Iowa beef producers are invited to a Jones County “Cattle Facility Tour” on Aug. 22 at the Marty Burlage farm north of Monticello, and the Adam and Craig Manternach farm and Todd Bergfeld farm south of Cascade. The tour will provide timely information on raising cattle in monoslope buildings, hoop barns and open lots.
