About ISU Extension and Outreach: Appanoose County

Appanoose County Extension has many of the answers you are looking for.  We can help with everything from apples to markets to yard care.  We have an elected Extension County Council with 9 members (listed on the right).  Our county 4-H program is very strong and includes a Youth Council and Adult Program Committee.  If you have any questions dealing with extension or the 4-H program feel free to contact us at (641) 856-3885. 

The Appanoose County Extension Council, county staff and ISU Extension and Outreach staff work together to provide research-based learning opportunities for our citizens. Through this partnership, we carry Iowa State University’s land-grant mission across Appanoose County.
