2011 Michigan Annie's Project Sites

Upper Peninsula of Michigan
Thursdays: Feb 3,10,17,24, Mar 3, & 10, 2011.

The registration brochure will be available on December 14 on the web, look under upcoming events. Registrations will be accepted beginning December 15. The cost is $50 per person and class size is limited to the first 20 paid registrants. For registration brochures, questions or more information contact Warren Schauer at 906-786-3032.

The cost of the program will be $50.00 per person and the class size is limited to the first 25 paid registrations. Registrations are being accepted at this time. A brochure is available upon request or can be downloaded here.

2010 Hispanic Farm Women’s Annie’s Project – Southwest Michigan
The dates for the 2010 Hispanic Farm Women’s Annie’s Project are going to be March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and April 7, 2011. The program will be held at the South Haven Campus of Lake Michigan College, South Haven, Michigan. The program will run from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, with a light dinner provided at 5:30.

The curriculum will include: topics such as what the role of various government agencies play in the farm business, how to work with lenders, and the typical processes that is followed when a grower purchases land. The program will be promoted to, but not limited to, Hispanic farm women located in Berrien, Van Buren and Allegan Counties.
