  • Guthrie Center: Six sessions will be held on Monday evenings, February 4, 11, 18, and 25; March 4 and 11 of 2013 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. February 4th & March 4th classes will be at the Farm Bureau Hall, 203 N 4th.   • Marshalltown: Six sessions will be held on Tuesday nights, February 5, 12, 19, and 26; March 5 and 12 (with March 19th as snow date) of 2013, at the Marshall County Extension Office at 2608 South 2nd Street.   • New Hampton: Six sessions will be held on Tuesday nights, February 5, 12, and 19; March 5, 12 and 19 of 2013, at the Chickasaw County Extension Office at 104 E. Main Street from 6 - 9 p.m. Contact Danielle Day at 641.394.2174 for more information.

  • Oskaloosa: Six sessions will be held on Thursday nights from January 24, 2013 to March 7, 2013 at the Mahaska County Extension Center at 212 N I Street from 6 - 9 p.m. Registrations can be made by calling the Mahaska County Extension Office at 641.673.5841 or contacting Natalie Spray or Bob Wells at the extension office.

  • Red Oak: Six sessions will be held on Thursday nights, January 17, 24, and 31; February 7, 21, and 28 of 2013 at the Montgomery County ISU Extension and Outreach Office at 400 Bridge Street, Suite #2, from 6 - 9 p.m. For more information, contact Stephanie Langner at 712.623.2592.

  • Jefferson: Classes meet from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings, February 21 to March 21, 2013 at Greene County Extension office, 104 West Washington Street. Make up snow date, if needed, will be March 28. Participant Fee of $75 includes course materials and refreshments. This program is made possible through the support of the USDA NIFA beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program, Farm Credit Services of American and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.   • Hampton: Classes meet from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, beginning April 23 through May 21, 2013 at the Hampton Methodist Church on the south side of Highway 3. The cost is $75 per person, which includes a 300-page workbook with fact sheets, hands-on activities and presentations. A light supper will be served before each class at 5:15 p.m. Course size is limited, and registration is due by March 12.   • Williamsburg: Classes meet from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday evenings, April 8 to May 6, 2013 at Kinze Manufacturing, Inc., 2172 M Avenue. The cost is $75 per person, which includes a 300-page workbook with fact sheets, hands-on activities and presentations.For more information contact Cathy Lents at the Poweshiek County Extension office at 641.623.5188 or Bob Wells, course facilitator, at 641.673.5841. Registrations are due April 5th.
