To sell morel mushrooms in Iowa, you must complete a certification workshop. Iowa State University is offering a 3-hour certification workshop on identifying morels and false morels. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Mark Gleason, ISU Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology.

The 2011 Tri-State Forest Stewardship Conference is Saturday, March 12, at Sinsinawa Mound Center, Sinsinawa, Wis. This is the 17th year for the conference, which annually draws 550 woodland landowners from Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.

From communications to agriculture and natural resources, Northeast Iowa 4-H fair judges and those considering being a 4-H judge will be trained.  New judges are needed in the counties that represent Northeast Iowa.  The specialized judges training prepares the adult evaluators in subject matter, rules and standards for the upcoming 4-H fair season.
