Byers Environmental Scholarship Award January 8, 2016
This Scholarship is for the for high school seniors planning to enroll in an Iowa College. Five scholarships will be awarded, for guidelines & application are available at

Iowa 4-H Foundation Scholarships February 1, 2016
The Iowa 4-H Foundation is pleased to announce the scholarship programs for Iowa 4-H’ers attending or planning to attend college in the fall. There are scholarships totaling $63,200 available to Iowa 4-H’ers pursuing various fields of study at an Iowa Regent University, Iowa private college, or Iowa community college.
Online applications and materials are available at  and must be completed online no later than 11:59 PM, February 1, 2016.

Hixson Opportunity Awards Deadline February 1, 2016
The Hixson Opportunity Award is a half-tuition grant (estimated value of more than $15,000 over eight semesters) to be used at Iowa State University. One hundred high school seniors from across Iowa will receive the award each year. Ideally, recipients will represent each county in the state. If you are a high school senior who demonstrates potential in ways that go beyond class rankings and test scores, you may wish to apply.  Application deadline is February 1, 2016. Loras College Scholarship Available to 4-H’ers Deadline February 3, 2014
The Lloyd E. Meehan scholarship is available for students active in 4-H who plan to attend Loras College next fall. The application is attached and paper copies of the scholarship application are also available at the Extension Office.  Application & Guidelines

Foremost Farms Scholarship Application deadline February 29, 2016
Every year, Foremost Farms awards up to 10 scholarships of $2,000 each to member-owners or the children of member-owners who are pursuing a career in the agricultural field. The Agricultural Education scholarships are sponsored by the Foremost Farms USA Charitable Foundation, which hosts a Cow-lege Cash™ Scholarship Golf Classic annual fundraiser.
To be eligible, an applicant must have a sincere interest in continuing education in an agriculture-oriented occupational field. A student must plan to enroll or be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited university, college or vocational-technical institute for a degree or short course program. visit more information
Allamakee County 4-H Scholarship, March 1, 2016
Deadline to apply is March 1, must have application turned in with all needed attachments.
The Allamakee 4-H Scholarship Committee will award the.  Recipients will be notified by March 31 on their selection.
The following items are required for completion of Allamakee 4-H scholarship applications. You must meet the following criteria and submit requested forms to be eligible.
1. A completed Allamakee 4-H College Scholarship Application Form
2. Two letters of support from: a) a school advisor or teacher, b) community member or an adult 4‑H volunteer, relative to leadership, citizenship and character of the applicant.
3. You must be a graduating senior in the current year.
4. You must be a current Allamakee County 4-H member with a history of exhibiting at the Allamakee County Fair and your membership must run consecutively for at least 3 years.

Allamakee County Fairboard Scholarship

The following items are required for completion of Allamakee County Fair Scholarship.
· Two letters of recommendation, one from an academic advisor or teacher and one from 4-H/FFA staff or adult volunteer attesting to 4-H/FFA participation, leadership, and character of the applicant.

Allamakee County Dairy Promotion Board Scholarship, March 1
The Allamakee County Dairy Promotion Board is sponsoring a scholarship for residents of Allamakee County.  They may be a high school senior (enrolling in Dairy Science or an Agriculture Field of Study) or a college student who is currently enrolled in Dairy Science or an Agriculture Field of Study.  The amount of the each scholarship depends on the number and quality of applicants, up to $500 will be awarded.  Scholarship Guidelines & Application

IAS Scholarship deadline TBA
Innovative Ag Services is pleased to announce that the Scholarship application is now available! IAS will select recipients to receive an Ag Scholarship. All applications must be postmarked by TBA to be considered. The guidelines and deadlines for the scholarship are below.

Allamakee County Cattlemen's Scholarship deadline 4/30/16
Allamakee County Cattlemen’s Annual Scholarship Contest Application Form
·        All applicants must be a current member of the FFA or 4-H or their parents members of the Allamakee Cattlemen’s Association.

 IFAA Winner's Circle Scholarships Deadline May 1.
There are thirty (30) scholarships available to freshman entering any Iowa two- or four-year post-secondary institution this fall and twenty-seven (27) scholarships available to current undergraduates attending Iowa State University.  Applicants must major in animal science or a curriculum in agriculture or human sciences that is related to the agriculture industry. Winners will be announced during the Iowa State Fair annual 4‑H/FFA Sale of Champions.
