The Allamakee County 4-H Circle of Friends fund was started in 2002 to secure funding and support of the Allamakee County 4-H program all year long.  Click here for a about the Circle of Friends Fund and what events and activities it made possible.

In 2008, the State 4-H Office set a goal to increase 4-H club membership by 3% in each county.  We are happy to report that Allamakee County is one of 25 counties to meet that goal!  Annually, ISU Extension youth development programming reaches over 1000 youth in Allamakee County.  Some of the youth belong to traditional 4-H clubs.  Other youth are reached through school enrichment, after-school or summer activities.

We can’t do it without your help.  Please consider becoming a member of the 4-H Circle of Friends.  We have Business members as well as Individual members.  Although contributions will be accepted at any time, we ask that you return the enclosed contribution slip from the brochure along with your donation by February 1, 2009 in order to be recognized as a member for the 2009 Allamakee County Fair.

Ways to Give:

  • Send donation to the Allamakee County Extension office at 21 Allamakee Street, Waukon, 52172.
  • Donate online with credit card to the Iowa 4-H Foundation.  Under Gift Designation, choose Allamakee County.
  • Send an immediate gift to Allamakee 4-H by using our PayPal account.

Thank you for your understanding and gracious response.  We appreciate your contribution to the Circle of Friends Fund and hope you consider it a wise investment in our community.
