A Home for All Ages Sampler

Program features the "Home for All Ages" display that has been developed by Extension Specialists
at Iowa State University. The 40-foot long exhibit includes a living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
Extension staff demonstrate design features and assistive devices in each room that make a home
more convenient and comfortable for people of all ages and all abilities.
Special features include an electronic faucet, a seated work area and pull-out storage modules
in the kitchen, and an environmental control unit in the living room.
A longer version of this video showing the individual features and gadgets in the "Home for All
Ages" is available for volunteer training to staff the exhibit.

Program prepares volunteers to staff the "Home for All Ages" educational exhibit that has been
developed by Extensions Specialists at Iowa State University. The 40-foot long display includes
