A Home for All Ages Sampler

Program features the "Home for All Ages" display that has been developed by Extension Specialists at Iowa State University. The 40-foot long exhibit includes a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Extension staff demonstrate design features and assistive devices in each room that make a home more convenient and comfortable for people of all ages and all abilities.

Special features include an electronic faucet, a seated work area and pull-out storage modules in the kitchen, and an environmental control unit in the living room.

A longer version of this video showing the individual features and gadgets in the "Home for All Ages" is available for volunteer training to staff the exhibit.
