LAMKEY NAMED INTERIM AGRONOMY DEPARTMENT CHAIR

ISU EXTENSION MASTER EQUINE MANAGER PROGRAM

The Iowa State University Extension Master Equine Manager Program is a comprehensive educational experience that teaches the science of horse management along with riding and training concepts. The program combines discussion with hands-on experience in six core curriculum sessions and two optional interest specific sessions.  The target audience includes:

IOWA DAIRY ASSOCIATION ACQUIRES ANOTHER

Iowa State Dairy Association (ISDA) delegates approved the acquisition of Iowa Dairy Product Association at its annual meeting January 11. With the acquisition, ISDA will have two employees, and Iowa State alumni, working for Iowa's dairy producers. Erin Vagts, who earned a bachelor's degree in 2005 in public service and administration, will serve as executive secretary and industry relations manager. Norman Moklestad, who earned a bachelor's degree in 1952 in agricultural education, will be industry relations manager assistant.
