Integrated Crop Management

The Integrated Crop Management website is a convenient, central location for producers to access a variety of crop production information, including: agronomy, soils and environment, weeds, integrated pest management, water quality, and grain handling and storage. 

Integrated Pest Management

The Iowa State University Integrated Pest Management team serves the university, external stakeholders and the people of Iowa by coordinating and supporting IPM activities at ISU, seeking innovative ways to train and educate about IPM principles and practices and maintaining IPM activities valued by our stakeholders. 

Pesticide Safety Education

The goal of the Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP) is to provide educational information throughout Iowa on the safe and effective use of pesticides. PSEP is responsible for Pesticide Applicator Continuing Instruction Courses (CIC’s) in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. Other programs that PSEP is involved in include integrated pest management, worker protection, environmental quality, and agricultural health.

Soil

Digital Ag

The Digital Ag team is a diverse group of graduate students and professional staff with backgrounds in agricultural, electrical and software engineering, as well as agricultural systems technology and agronomy. Team members specialize in tillage, planting, application and harvest operations. The group is part of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department at Iowa State University and operates out of the BioCentury Research Farm.

Weather and Environment

The Iowa Environmental Mesonet collects environmental data from cooperating members with observing networks. The data are stored and made available on this website.
