Clover Kids Activities in Adams County

Clover Kids is for children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. They meet on the first Saturday of each month at the Adams County Extension office from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. They have fun doing various activities scaled to their age group. Open enrollment, your children may join at any time.

Nearly 700 Iowa 4-H youth, families and friends cheered on the Iowa State University Women’s Basketball team during 4-H Day at Hilton Coliseum. The fourth annual event attracted 4-H’ers from throughout the state.
Parent-Child Cell Phone Debate Continues

Parents can exert a measure of control over their child’s mobile phone use by limiting use, checking its contents and using it to monitor the whereabouts of their offspring. However, with a few exceptions, these activities by parents do not seem to impact patterns of cell phone use by teens, according to Iowa State University Extension and Outreach family life specialists.
4-H Camp Counselors Grow with Campers

Iowa 4-H Foundation Announces New Peyton Family Scholarship

Sue and Harold Peyton of Sac County have established the Peyton Family Scholarship through the Iowa 4-H Foundation. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an Iowa State University student in a major related to agriculture who will be a sophomore, junior or senior in fall 2012.
Cass, Decatur, Taylor Counties Add 4-H History Online

Cass, Decatur and Taylor counties have added their 4-H history to Iowa 4-H History by County, a blog detailing the history of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach 4-H Youth Development. The history blog is a partnership of the Iowa 4-H program and the Iowa 4-H Foundation.

Donate Grain and Invest in Iowa’s #1 Crop: Youth

By donating grain, farmers can support Iowa’s number one crop, youth, say officials with the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Donations to the Iowa 4-H Foundation can be designated to county 4-H endowments, for statewide use or for both purposes.
