Concurrent sessions are offered in two categories: Track A: Business Issues and Track B: Becoming a Destination.

What does the Visit Iowa Farms Conference Cost?

Conference Registration is $50 for the full day, materials, lunch and breaks. Registration deadline is February 27, 2009. Registration fees will increase after that date.


What is Honey Creek Resort?

Honey Creek ResortHoney Creek Resort opened in September 2008. It is Iowa’s newest destination resort. An overnight stay in the 105-room hotel includes four admissions to the Buccaneer Bay Indoor Water Park. Bring your family along for a weekend getaway. Honey Creek Resort is located 90 minutes south of the Des Moines International Airport.

The Iowa Agritourism Working Group, supported by the Value Added Agriculture Program and other departments within Iowa State University Extension also includes the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, the Iowa Department of Agriculture, Iowa Department of Economic Development, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area, Iowa Winegrowers Association, Greater Des Moines Convention & Visitors Bureau, Des Moines Chapter of Buy Fresh, Buy Local, Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture and the Iowa Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association.
