These crop updates are created on a mostly weekly basis during the growing season. However, they may be more or less frequent, as appears appropriate.

The updates are intended to apprise crop producers and those who serve crop producers of items I am encountering or anticipate. As I cannot be in each part of each county I serve on a daily basis, I invite you to share your experiences with me. The more information you send into "the system," the better it will be for all producers and service providers. Rest assured no producer nor service provider names will be used without permission.

As I indicated on the home page, I will frequently refer to publications and newsletters. Unless otherwise noted, these publications and newsletters should be available at your local Iowa State University Extension Office.
