Sac County 4-H'er Earns Visual Art Project Award

AMES, Iowa – Emily Haselhoff of Sac County received a state 4-H visual art project award that included a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Haselhoff, 18, is the daughter of John and Marcia Haselhoff.
During 10 years in 4-H, Haselhoff has completed several major projects including visual arts, food and nutrition, home improvement, clothing, and horticulture. She has received the Ak-Sar-Ben Award, Top Senior Record Book, the Achievement Award and the Top Senior Fashion Revue. She has served as secretary, treasurer, photographer and phone committee chairperson in her local 4-H club. Haselhoff also has served on the county 4-H council, the area 4-H council and state 4-H council, and has participated in the National 4-H Congress and the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
Haselhoff is a freshman at Iowa State University.
