Statewide Re-Show of the 2008 Commercial Manure Applicator Training Scheduled for Aug. 20
7/14/2008
AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University (ISU) Extension in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will conduct a statewide re-show of the 2008 Commercial Manure Applicator Satellite Downlink on Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon.
This is an opportunity for commercial manure applicators who have not fulfilled their 2008 training to do so before fall application. Those applicators wishing to become certified for the first time can also attend. The workshop will provide the required three hours of annual training. If you have already attended training in 2008, there is no need to attend.
There is no fee for the workshop but applicators must register with the ISU Extension county office where they plan to attend by Wednesday, Aug. 13. A list of counties offering the commercial manure applicator program is available at: http://www.agronext.iastate.edu/immag/certification/08macreshow.html
If you have questions about the statewide re-show of the 2008 satellite downlink program, contact your local ISU Extension county office or check the Web at: http://extension.agron.iastate.edu/immag/mac.html
