2011 VERB SummerScorecard May 31st-August 6th

If you are looking for fun, free or low-cost ways for your child to stay in shape and be active this summer, consider the VERB Summer Scorecard Program.

The Iowa VERB Summer Scorecard is a free physical activity program for 8-13 year olds in Story, Boone, and Dallas counties

Nearly 500 kids throughout Story, Boone, and Dallas counties are expected to participate in this year's program.  In partnership with local businesses, the program offers opportunities including:

• Swimming at the Furman and Family Fawcett Aquatic center
• Midnight Madness Run
• Golf and Disk Golf at local courses
• Cycling with Skunk River Cycles
• Soccer with the Ames Soccer Club
• Tennis with Missouri Valley USTA
• Nature hikes with the Boone County Landfill
• Mary Greeley Fest
• And More!
