This Leader’s Guide includes 37 fun, hands-on
activities that are arranged in 10 gardening days. This resource will make it
much easier for educators/leaders and elementary-age children to plan, prepare,
plant, maintain, and harvest a garden. Everyone gets to garden and learn about
a variety of gardens, natural resources, pests, value-added agriculture,
healthy habits, garden news, and garden parties.

Garden Journal
More than 30
pages of activity sheets, journal pages, a gardening certificate, and a
resource list are included in this booklet. Young gardeners complete the
activities during their gardening experience. Then they take the journal home
to share with their families and friends. You may copy the pages for
educational purposes only. The Garden Journal is the young gardener’s
piece that goes with the Outdoor Classrooms for Young Gardeners. |
