Translations for Parts of Plants

Lesson idea: Use the following translations with the songs, activity sheets, and discussions in the two lessons, “Designing Plants”, and “My Totally Tasty Plant” found in Grade One, Growing in the Garden: K-3 Curriculum Growing Curiosity About Agriculture, Natural Resources, Food, and People.

Ask your Spanish and Bosnian-speaking students and parents to help with the pronunciation of the words. (It’s harder for us adults to spell how things sound than it is for our young children!)
