By Mike Owen, Department of Agronomy
The ISU Weed Science Field Day scheduled for June 26 has been cancelled due to an inability to get into the field. We apologize for this inconvenience but unprecedented weather has resulted in continuous flooding and saturated soils making it impossible to establish demonstrations and research protocols.
However, it is anticipated that all demonstrations and research protocols will be established as soon as conditions improve. If you are interested in viewing the field research and demonstrations, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a tour. Field books will be available online or they can be purchased on site ($20). All visits will be accommodated and appropriate guided tours provided as requested. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Mike Owen is a professor of agronomy with research and extension responsibilities in weed management and herbicide use.
