Food Insecurity Up in Recessionary Times

U.S. food insecurity was at a record-high level in 2008; following the less severe 2001 recession, food insecurity continued to worsen through 2004.

Shooting sports instructors are responsible for the overall coordination and management of the county/area 4-H shooting sports program. All-Iowa Hort Expo set for March 19 & 20, 2010

The Iowa State Horticultural Society (ISHS) will sponsor the All-Iowa Horticulture Exposition II (Expo) on March 19-20, 2010 at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa. The ISHS will once again partner with Iowa State University Extension to coordinate the event. More information about the Expo appears on the Society’s website, www.iowahort.org.
