first Special Olympics USA National Games is coming to Ames in July 2006.

Sports Programs Emphasize Education, Safety
Extension’s
fastest growing 4-H program is Safety
and Education in Shooting Sports. Certified volunteers lead shooting programs in more than
half of Iowa’s counties.
Industries
Save Energy
Iowa
industries experience meaningful growth through ISU Extension
efforts to help them optimize energy savings. Extension’s
Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS), in partnership
with the Iowa Energy Center and the Industrial Assessment Center
(IAC), provides educational
materials and services to manufacturers.
