Go the distance to lighten up Iowa
Iowa youth are “going the distance” while adults are “lightening
up” — all part of Lighten Up Iowa, a physical fitness program
sponsored by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Iowa Games and Iowa
State
University Extension.
Broadband network moves Extension into fast(er) lane
Iowa State University Extension’s county offices across the state are being hooked
up to a new T-1 level broadband network service. By the end of May,
each county office will be able to tap into this system.
Meat
processors depend on ISU Meat Science Extension
ISU
Extension’s Processed Meat Short Courses have trained more
than 10,000 meat processors from across the United States and around
the world since 1977. The program has
had a positive effect on the quality, consistency and safety of processed
meat products.
