In 1999-2000, ISU Extension's 4-H club program enrolled 32,749 youth who benefited from the teaching of more than 15,000 volunteers.

Extension's Iowa Concern, Families Answer Line, Teen Line and Iowa Healthy Families hotlines helped 48,197 Iowans this past year.

Since 1995, 278 Iowans in the state judicial, legislative and executive branches have learned about each other's contributions to Iowa government and heard nationally-known experts on government issues by participating in the Iowa Institute for Public Leadership, coordinated by ISU Extension.

Thirty-three companies reported additional capital investments of $2,885,200 following assistance from the Iowa Manufacturing Extension Partnership (IMEP).

Agricultural chemical dealers in northwestern Iowa credit ISU Extension with helping them do a better job of custom application, for an average increase of $10,000 to $20,000 in overall annual profits per business.
