In the past year
• 289,729 individuals participated in noncredit conferences, courses and special programs offered by ISU Extension's Extended and Continuing Education (ECE) program. ECE delivered 266 off-campus credit courses. Enrollment in credit courses reached 2,652.

• 2,772 Iowa businesses and manufacturers received assistance from ISU Extension through the Iowa Manufacturing Technology Center (IMTC) and the Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS).

• ISU Extension trained 1,720 community leaders, 1,585 emergency service providers, 969 government officials, and 34 business entrepreneurs.

• 53,400 Iowans received immediate information and education by calling ISU Extension's family-related telephone hotlines. Each month, ISU Extension's food safety Web site received 29,000 hits and child care site received 74,000 hits.

• 118,000 school-age youth participated in ISU Extension 4-H Youth Development programs.

• 97,981 Iowans received one-to-one educational assistance and 147,723 attended educational programs from ISU Extension to Agriculture and Natural Resources.
