Commercials win award A series of radio commercials promoting Iowa State University's master's degree programs available by distance education is a winner. It won a gold award at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VI annual conference in Kansas City, Mo., in January. The district includes eight states and nearly 200 colleges and universities. The ads featured a man who wanted a master's degree but
didn't have time to drive to campus without giving up either
his job or his night's sleep. The ads ran on stations in Des
Moines, Mason City, Sioux City and the Quad Cities. ISU
Extension's Extended and Continuing Education program used
grant funds to develop and produce the ads. |
