Iowa 4-H'ers serve their communities throughout the year.

But they get additional opportunities for community service during the annual Iowa 4-H Youth Conference. The 1999 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference will be held June 29 to July 1 in Ames. This year's theme is "It's a Small World-Dream Big." All teens are welcome, including non-4-H'ers. The conference draws more than 700 youth each year. Youth can get registration information, and adults can inquire about chaperoning opportunities, by contacting any ISU Extension county office.
