| Description: | This informative meeting will help farmers and landowners understand their options under the Agricultural Act of 2014 (commonly referred to as the Farm Bill). Price Loss Coverage, County Agricultural Risk Coverage, and Individual Agricultural Risk Coverage will be explained. Farmland owners and operators will be making base acreage and yield update decisions this fall; and making a one-time election for either the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) or the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) Programs. Join ISU Extension Farm Management Specialists and staff from USDA FSA to go over some of the new farm bill provisions, discuss ARC and PLC options and to hear about the decisions to be made in the coming months. Participation is welcome for farm operators and landlords regardless of their county of operation | ||
