Communications and Information Technology (CIT) is a media organization with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). CIT is critical to the dissemination of UNL Extension’s educational content. For UNL Extension to stay relevant with its audience, CIT must continually monitor and adjust the way it prepares and releases Extension's messages. A study was initiated by CIT to gain a better perspective of the types of media farmers and ranchers in Nebraska utilized when making agricultural business decisions. CIT partnered with the Nebraska branch of the National Agricultural Statistics Service for this study to survey 1,500 farmers and ranchers.
