A successful communication or IT project depends not only on good ideas and sound technical skills, but also on effective project planning and management. In this two-part breakout session, you will learn the eight steps of effective project leadership, from clearly understanding the need or opportunity at the outset through celebrating success when the project has been completed. The presenters will offer detailed insight into each step and will share references and links to additional information for those interested in further learning. The presentation will be enlivened by numerous examples, and case studies will provide opportunities for interactive learning.
