Please print out these directions for your referenece as you enroll in the 4-H Club Volunteer Training.

1. After printing these directions, click on this link to be taken to the Iowa State University Extension Courses page.  
2. Under “Available Courses” (in the center column), click on the “4-H Club Volunteer Training Fall 2007 or Spring 2008” link.  You are taken to the course log in page.
3. If you are enrolling in a course for the first time, you must create an account.  Use the link on the right; “Create new account”.
4. Fill in all of the fields and click “Create my new account”.
5. Stop.  Now check your email.  A message will automatically be sent to the email address you used to create your account.  It will come from “ISU Extension Courses”.  Follow the directions in that message.
6. Your registration will be confirmed.  Click on “Course” 
7. Select “4-H Club Volunteer Training Fall 2007or Spring 2008” from the list.
8. You will be prompted for a 4-H Club Volunteer Training  Enrollment key.  This key is a combination of numbers and letters you obtain from your local County Extension office.  It is case sensitive, so it must be entered in using lower and uppercase letters as appropriate.
9. Congratulations!  You have just created your account and accessed the online training.

Please acquaint yourself with the course page: 

• On the left is the “Welcome” box containing general links about the course.  Click on each link to discover the helpful information.
• The next box on the left is the “Resources” box containing links to materials used in this course and supplemental materials that complement this course.
• When you are ready to start your training, proceed through the material sequentially, starting at the top of the page and working your way through to the bottom.

You may log out of the course page using the “Logout” link located in the upper right-hand corner, or by closing the window.

To return to the training, go to:  /4hvolunteers (you may want to bookmark this page, or add it to your favorites) and click on the left-hand link:  “Already Enrolled?  Log in Here”.  You will be taken to the course log in page.  From this point on, fill in your Username and Password on the left and click “Login” to access this the course.
