Iowa 4-H Foundation Scholarship Applications Online

Are you an Iowa 4-H'er planning to attend college? Consider applying for an Iowa 4-H Scholarship. We know it's not easy to finance a college education, and know that many Iowa 4-H'ers can use help achieving their educational goals. Designed to encourage Iowa 4-H members to continue their education beyond high school, our 2013-2014 scholarship program offers 75 scholarships totaling $60,000 in financial aid for Iowa youth. Scholarships range in value from $500 to $3500. There are even scholarships for current college students and first year Vet Med students.

Iowa 4-H members are eligible to apply for 4-H scholarships if they meet individual scholarship requirements. Check Iowa 4-H Scholarship eligibility requirements with the Iowa 4-H Scholarship Listing for fall 2013. Applicants must enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) to receive scholarship awards.

The Iowa 4-H Scholarship applications are now available online. New this year, the applications are online forms and can be found at www.iowa4hfoundation.org/scholarships.  There are two separate applications, one for incoming college freshmen and the other for current college students.  Letters of recommendation should also be submitted through the online form at www.iowa4hfoundation.org/scholarshiprecommendation

NOTE: Once the applicant begins their application they will not be able to save their work.  They need to refer to the Instructions for Iowa 4-H Scholarships and Helpful Hints for Preparing Iowa 4-H Scholarship Applications to have all needed information available before starting.
