Brenda Allen 4-H Youth Program Specialist (515) 294-1567 Brenda's responsibilities include leadership for State 4-H Council, State Conference, Collegiate 4-H, International programs, and some out-of-state 4-H trips. She is also the state contact for youth in governance. 	Mitch Hoyer 4-H Youth Program Specialist (515) 294-1531 Mitch provides leadership to 4-H policy and procedures, including risk managment, 4-H Name & Emblem, Child Protection and Safety Program, and 4-H club financial issues. He manages 4-H State Fair static exhibits and communication events, 4-H Scholarships, and works with design and delivery of educational events and activities.
	Mary Kay Litzel Secretary (515) 294-1519 Mary Kay is the receptionist for 4-H, provides support for Scholarships; Recognition; Leader/Youth Awards; Judges Training; FOCUS e-newsletter; Pioneer grants programs; and the Iowa State Fair 4-H Exhibits Building.		Judy McCarthy Project Coordinator (515) 294-1611 Judy is the Iowa AmeriCorps State of Promise Program Director. She is responsible for managing the AmeriCorps State of Promise grant and supporting AmeriCorps members serving in host communities throughout the state.
	Phyllis Mondt Secretary (515) 294-1017 Phyllis is the departmental telephone receptionist and provides support for the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference, State Council, Shooting Sports, and Child Protection. She schedules display and banner checkouts and helps maintain and update library and central file holdings.		Becky Nibe 4-H Youth Program Specialist (515) 294-9785 Becky provides support for the 4-H enrollment process, as well as support for reporting, data management, and instructional design and delivery.
	Abbie Parker Program Specialist, Iowa 4-H Center (515/795-3338) Abbie provides leadership in developing, designing, and implementing a statewide residential camping program as well as coordinating programs for the Iowa 4-H Center. She also hires, trains, and supervises summer camp staff to implement 4-H summer camps using the 4-H curriculum. 	Jay Staker Director, Extension Science Engineering and Technology Youth Initiative (E-SET) and 4-H Youth Program Specialist (515)294-8417 Jay assists in preparing Iowa's youth for the careers of tomorrow by supporting and providing information on resources in science, engineering and technology (SET) youth programming; offering exciting hands-on professional development opportunities in SET programming for educators and youth professionals; and consulting in development of SET youth programs for both schools and nonformal learning environments.		Keli Tallman 4-H Youth Program Specialist (515) 294-0688 Keli provides leadership to the Iowa 4-H Program's statewide evaluation, research, and reporting frameworks. She also provides leadership to state 4-H Issues/Curricular Teams. She is the state liaison for National 4-H Afterschool and represents the Iowa 4-H Youth Development Program as an active member of the Iowa Collaboration for Youth Development Council and as a board member of the Iowa Afterschool Alliance's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Additionally, Keli coaches 4-H staff in the development of contracts and grants and is the liaison for strategic 4-H partnership development.

Janet Toering 4-H Youth Program Specialist (515) 450-4973 Janet provides leadership to our Value Added Agriculture project, "Growing in the Garden", and is the primary author of this K-8 grade curriculum. Much of her time is spent in training extension staff and volunteers to deliver this program through school enrichment and special interest groups venues.
