4-H Staff Camp Planning Tool

In an effort to provide more opportunities for youth to experience and enjoy the outdoors, we encourage 4-H staff to consider holding a county,  regional, or multi-county camp at the Iowa 4-H Center in Madrid. This is a planning tool that will help you get started planning your camp.

Research shows that youth who play outdoors are better people – our goal as a statewide 4-H program is to help 4-H staff get youth camping and outdoors. At the Iowa 4-H Center we provide caring adults who lead your camp programs and activities. Have a specific theme you want? Want a STEM focus? We have connections. We have ideas and curriculum for about any program idea.Any camp can be tailored to different ages, group size, length of stay, and cost.
