Getting your story on 4-H TV

You can submit content to be on 4-H TV!

  1. First, become a 4-H TV crew member.
  2. Then get out to an event and cover it!
  3. Next, decide on a "spin" or "theme" for your story to make it original and interesting. Examples:
    • An overview of the event
    • Especially interesting people
    • A specific aspect of the event
    • A special story from the event

Finally, follow the file format guidelines and instructions below to format your creation, then the following form to upload all of your files for us to post here on 4-H TV:

Video
Export the video you created using these guidelines: vimeo.com/help/compression

 

Photos
Go through the photos you took and pick out the ones that tell your story the best and collect your selected photos into a single folder.

 

Audio Clips

Export the audio clip you created as an uncompressed .wav or 192kbps .mp3 file.

Think of a topic for your video, maybe tell us about a cool event in your area. Examples:
 - A tour of your county fair
 - Service projects of local clubs
 - Other 4-H events in your county

 

 

Capture the feeling of a local event through photography!

Record an interview or other audio clip that shares the "voice" of 4-H.

As part of the 4-H TV crew, you can work with other crew members to cover state events like the Iowa State Fair, or ask other crew members in your area for help covering a local event by submitting a story suggestion.
