Q: Where is the 4-H Horticulture show held?
A: In the Agriculture Building located near the center of the fairgrounds.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Lot T parking passes will be available for $6.00 each, and can be purchased in the Administration Building , or at the same time that you order your discount tickets. Your extension office will have the discount ticket order form.
Q: How do I get to the Ag Building?
A: Please enter through Gate 8. Your gate pass should allow you and your vehicle onto the grounds. When you approach the road block, inform them you have 4-H horticulture exhibits to unload, and that you need to get to the Agriculture Building .
Q: How and where do I get checked in?
A: Exhibitors must check-in with the entries from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Agriculture Building . You may also check-in from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. the next morning.
Q: What about my exhibitor number and T-shirt?
A: Your exhibitor number and exhibitor's T-shirt will be passed out during check in.
Q: When can I pick up my exhibits?
A: All exhibits must be picked up by 3:00 p.m. Monday or they will be disposed of.
Q: How do I complete my entry tags?
A: Please attach a tag to each of your exhibits, except for entries in Class 5303.
1 - Attach the identification labels on the entry tags that you plan to use (this will eliminate the need for you to write out your name, address, city and county). Be sure the cut out flap is functional.
2 - On the "Variety" line, at the very top, write in the vegetable variety name (since your county name is already on your identification label).
If this information is missing your best placing is in jeopardy. REMEMBER: Each entry MUST show the variety name. Print clearly!
Q: How many entries can I make?
A: Exhibitors are permitted up to two entries per class and will be paid cash awards for both entries if they place. Don't forget the County Vegetable Platter Class, class 5303! No pre-entry is needed for this class. Special entry tags will be provided at the fair for this class.
