Q: Do I as a 4-H'er, have to pay to get in?
A: Each exhibitor will be provided 1 free admittance ticket. Additional
tickets may be ordered at a discount, if they are ordered prior to July
20. Your county extension office will have the discount ticket order
form.
Q: What about parking?
A: Parking stickers can also be ordered ahead of time by using the same
discount order form as for the tickets mentioned above. You may also
purchase parking stickers for Lot T (near the Youth Inn and behind
Grandfather's Farm) from any one of the livestock barn offices. The
tickets cost $6.00 per day.
Q: What about parking my livestock trailer?
A: Trailers may be parked south of the youth beef barn, outside of the
fairgrounds.
Q: Is there any place I can stay overnight on the fair grounds?
A: The Youth Inn is available for a charge of $7 per night for youth
and $10 for adults. A chaperone must accompany any youth staying at
the Youth Inn.
Q: I am here for the day and want to find where my county is
stalled, where do I look?
A: In each of the respective livestock barn offices there will be a list
posted of each county and where they are located in each barn.
Q: Do we need to do anything with FSQA certification?
A: Yes. All beef, sheep, swine, dairy (cattle and goats), meat goat,
poultry, and rabbit exhibitors must include a copy of their Food Safety
and Quality Assurance certification along with their state fair entry
form.
