BOOMERANG
gets
positive results.
BOOMERANG
offers a way for communities, schools and other groups to nurture
self-esteem among our youth and help them develop the character
traits that will lead to successful lives for them and a healthy,
functioning society for all.
BOOMERANG
uses
the metaphor of the playful boomerang instrument. What individuals
demonstrate, toss out, as their own character most often comes back
to them. The program continually refers character traits back to
a Native American approach to building good traits in children:
a medicine wheel motif, where each person has four basic needs of
Belonging, Mastery, Independence and Generosity.
