"Webster County Plants for the Future," was
a county-wide tree planting program that involved youth, service groups,
gardeners and Master Gardeners, City of Fort Dodge, Extension Council
members and ISU alumni. Trees were planted the last two weeks of April
at various locations in the county. Those involved in the planting will
have special recognition during an open house celebration in January when
Webster County Extension holds a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new
Crossroads Mall office location. Cy will be on hand and the 150th plaque
will be installed at that time.
