ISU Extension Sesquicentennial Service Project,
Monona County, July 14, 2007

In observance of the Monona County Sesquicentennial Service Project, Jerry Miller, Extension agriculture and natural resources program director, presented a ccommemorative plaque on July 14 to the Monona County Extension Council chairman who presented it to the museum personnel where the ag history display is located. Youth are 4-H members of a club who hosted refreshments. Extension staff are Gerald Miller, Northwest Area Crop Specialist Mark Licht, Northwest Area Extension Education Director Don Nitchie, and Monona County Extension Education Director Cheri Hardison.

This quilt block was in recognition of the ISU 150 years and in memory of some long time 4-H leaders. It is placed in front of the 4-H exhibit building on the Monona County Fairgrounds in Onawa along with a new memorial bench.
