ISU Extension Sesquicentennial Service Project
Harrison County, May 12, 2007

Harrison County Extension's ISU 150th Celebration Event was held May 12 in Logan. We planted two Gingko trees next to our newly acquired Extension building. The event was well worth the effort--we had fun, learned a lot (thanks to Cindy Haynes) and had perfect weather to top it all off. Special thanks to Cindy Haynes for coming all the way from Ankeny to represent ISU. Cindy, if we can ever return the favor please let us know. Cindy's expert knowledge was quite valuable when it came to planting the trees also.

In one of the photos you will see two dads (and their kids), who will be deployed to Iraq in June. We teamed up with Operation Military Kids to honor these dads and support their families. Some of you will recognize the older gentleman with the bright red ISU cap as Gary Guge. Gary was the Extension Director here for 41 years. He is a great friend of Harrison County Extension.
